Viking Designer Diamond Sound

Here is a recording of the Designer Diamond.  The room was full of running machines and people.  My guess there was about 50 of them.  Click on the image to hear the sound.

San Antonio

Well, this week is a little different. I’m posting a little late. I’ve been traveling.  The time I usually spend putting my lesson together was spent on a plane.  I’m in San Antonio, TX  for the Viking news.  The Designer Diamond has been unveiled. It is a beautiful machine with the large hoop we have all wanted.  The buttons have been replaced with a streamlined panel with very nice lighting.  The screen is bigger and brighter.  Oh, and we can do some way cool things right on the screen. The precision positioning is just great.  You can zoom in to ensure you are exactly where you need to be.  It’s quite the machine.  I’ll provide more as I’m able. I’ll be spending time with the machine in the morning and will put togethere more details.

Convert Thread Range

ConvertThreadRangeII

This tutorial is on Convert Thread Range. Many times the thread associated with a design is not the thread available. I will teach you how to change the thread palette to associate with the thread you have. It’s a quick technique and easy to do. This lesson can be used with 4D Organizer, 3D Organizer for both the Viking and Pfaff software. Click above to view the video.
