Thank you for the lessons, just “discovered” this site, its like having your own teacher available at my convenience, thank you, thank you, you have shown me alot, and I really appreciate this site…Fran P
Thank you, Lin, for taking the time to create these 4D tutorials. They are so helpful, method clearly demonstrated, and the useful of the presented application.
I don’t even want to think about these tutorials not being available. Please continue as I cannot emphasize enough how valuable they are to us “infrequent” 4D users and how easily we can forget. I’ve referred back to various tutorials and they are just the “refresher” I need.
Hi Mary That is so cool. You need to share a picture. LIN
Hi Nancy, It can be done with 4D Extra. You will need to find the straight stitch in the machine stitch. Plan your stitch lines and create your stitch line. You can copy it into your clip board and then paste it back in and place it for multiple lines of stitching. You can adjust the length of the stitch line by removing the unneeded portion using the edit tab. Starting out with your plan and the straight stitch from the machine stitches are key. HTH LIN
Hi Elizabeth,
The feature was added with the release of 4D. Overlap removal in 3D is a manual process.
Sorry, LIN
My Valentine Pins turned out great!
Lin,
A great tutorial. Learned a few tricks I forgot. Thanks for your time and knowledge.

Love it! I am going to try this today…
Thanks Lin it’s nice to know when to use remove overlap and when not to. A very good video!
Someone in a class referred me to your site. I have taken 3D and 4 D classes and it all
seems to make sense. Then when I go to use it(I work full time) I am lost. Your video
is perfect. Thank you for taking the time to do it. You are a great help.

don’t suppose there is a way to do this in 3D editor?
Thank you so much for the videos that you have! They are clear and precise and easy to understand.
I have 4D Embroidery Extra for my D1. Can I do a crazy quilt block, and if so, HOW?? Thanks!
Nancy
Hi Lin
Great tutorial, as always!
