Hi Cathy, 4D QuiltDesign Creator is not in 4D Pro. It is a stand along program. It is not included in 5D Pro either. There are functions of 4D QuiltDesign Creator in 4D/5D Pro but there are 4D QDC features not included in Pro.

Linn is 4D quilt design software in the 4D professional software? I am thinking of buying the Qbot and am just gathering facts. I actually own 4D profession and 5D professional software.

Yes, Lin, I would like to see a lesson using the rose design you chose and making the flowers for a tee shirt like Chris Dolinar’s “Designer Tee.” It would be a great lesson.

Hi Carol.
Yes you can add the ‘stitches’ to use the cutwork needles to a design. It is a bit involved and I have not practiced much myself. So, I don’t have anything to share. LIN

Hi Lin
I have 3D and missed out on the free 4D upgrade as I didn’t register my software in time and money will not allow me to upgrade I have just been given the cut work needles as I have disability problems could I add a stitch line and use this to add my cutwork needles so that they would cut at the correct time. Could I use any of the bernina patterns with my needle set, Sorry to ask so many questions but I love cutwork.Thank you Carol
